General Operations Intern (unpaid)


Responsible for helping the Vice President implement various nonprofit management tools for this organization. This position will gain experience and knowledge of the behind the scenes aspects of a nonprofit organization, specifically in regards to management. Please note that this position will be a "work from home" internship with check ins directly with the Vice President. See below for more specific duties for this position:

1) Research and create comparisons of various nonprofit management tools that could be beneficial for this organization.

2) Have multiple meetings each week with the Vice President to go over various tasks as well as discuss how to utilize your research for our organization.

4) Help the Vice President implement various nonprofit management tools.

5) Assist the Vice President in running a training program to teach other board members how to use these various management tools.

6) Generate and analyze reports on donor records from the newly implemented system/website.

7) Receive training from the Vice President and President on various tasks as well as will learn the tactics and strategies behind running a nonprofit. Will also meet with other board members to learn about their roles within the organization.

8) Other Duties as necessary.


1) Degree-seeking college student majoring in nonprofit management, general business management, or related field.

2) Ability to problem solve and think on your feet.

3) Ability to work on a team as well as individually.

4) Strong writing and communication skills.

5) Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), especially with Excel.

6) Experience in G-Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, etc.)

7) Ability to analyze data and generate reports.

8) General knowledge of the opioid crisis and an interest in learning more about recovery efforts.

SALARY: Please note this is an unpaid internship. We are willing to sign any documentation needed for a college student to obtain internship credit.
